“Minde om en sang” (“Memory of a song”) was first performed at my debut concert “Sange når aftenklokken ringer” (“Songs when the evening bell chimes”) in June 2017.

“Kvartet til minde om en sang” for string quartet, “Minde om en sang” for children’s quartet and “En sang” for cassette tape are written with the same material: a song I wrote, when I was 6 years old. In the string quartet we get the abstract version, very removed from the original song. In the children’s quartet we hear the song more clearly, though still processed and changed. On the cassette tape we hear a child singing the original song on the media of my childhood.
