Solo concert with Jonas Frølund at Moderne Tirsdag
Among other pieces, Jonas Frølund premieres “Alone” for solo basset clarinet
The pieces “Alone”, “Together” and “Apart” were written as companion pieces. The solo basset clarinet plays “Alone”. In “Together” three strings are added and the piece is expanded. In “Apart” the clarinet is gone, a fourth string is added, and the ‘holes’ left by the clarinet have been filled up with new material, and the musical time has been stretched and changed.
“Alone” was commissioned by Arbejdsgruppe Gunnar Berg.
