“Vandringer” was first performed by students at Nordfyns Musikskole. It is written for flute, tenor recorder, bass recorder, trombone, electric guitar, piano, 2 violins & 3 cellos.

The piece was written after a composition workshop with the students, where they composed their own pieces. After the workshop I took element from their compositions and wrote the piece “Vandringer” on the basis of those elements. When they performed the piece, therefore, they recognized bits and pieces as their own, which helped them take ownership over the piece.
